Buen Provecho!
"If you are looking to have the best cup of coffee in town, you came to the right place. Not only is their coffee the greatest, but the chef, Luis, has conjured up the best croissants, danishes and homemade breads in the world. Their pancakes are to die for and they have other great items for sale on the premises. Enjoy your food with great music. The staff is great and meet Mery Rosado, owner, who does not let you leave the place without having a great chat with you. "
Cafe Mezzaluna Saugerties newest hot spot
"This place is a blast ! Stop in on a sunday morning... there' s live music, very unique breakfast specials and a staff that is obviously having a great time... and it' s contagious ! This ecclectic cafe sports multi colored walls and chairs and an ever changing collection of paintings and photographs. Choose from their regular menu of not so regular grilled paninis, the best cuban sandwich this side of Miami and daily specials with a Latin flair. The energy is amazing, the place is beautiful and the people are fun....keep your eye on these guys... and stop by soon, as it is my prediction that reservations will be needed to get anywhere near this place on the weekend any minute now !"
IT'S A HAPPENING!
"Café Mezzaluna is not only a “Bistro Latino,” it’s a HAPPENING! It’s inventive; it’s artistic; and you’ll never know what’s coming next. You’ll never know exactly what’s on the menu, either, since Chef Luis invents daily new ways to wake up your taste buds. What's more, Proprietress Mery Rosado has turned the café’s walls into an ever-changing exhibition gallery for fine art. On weekends, local musicians and poets share their talents. What is consistent?—the quality. CM serves one of the best cups of coffee ever; warm, homemade bread that’s better than cake; great breakfasts; inventive pizzas; a killer Cubano sandwich; and homemade gelati. Treat yourself. It’s worth the ride."
FABULOSO
"The best "Cubano" sandwich ever!! Must have at least once a week!Fluffy omelets with "home-made bread" accompanied by wonderfull coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice make for a breakfast fit for this queen! Don't forget to try the wonderfull assortmnet of gelatos made right there! Hats off to Mery and crew."
Home away from home
"I love Mezzaluna! The food is amazing, with unusual combinations of of tastes and influences, and the best strawberry banana pancakes in the history of the world. My favorite time to go is on Sunday for brunch when --local singer songwriters and acoustic acts perform . Cafe Mezzaluna is homey and down home like a diner, but with lots of different choices. Go. Enjoy." |
